Putting up a strong defence of the Citizenship (Modification) Act (CAA) in both Houses of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday warned that the ongoing demonstrations may lead to a situation of anarchy and asked what would take place if people in the Opposition-ruled States declined to follow laws enacted by their own Assemblies.
