NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reviewed the progress made by India in the development of a vaccine against coronavirus and the efforts taken in the fields of diagnosis and testing.
In a meeting with a task force on coronavirus vaccine development, the Prime Minister today took a detailed review of the current status of India’s efforts in vaccine development, drug discovery, diagnosis and testing, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
The PMO said that Indian vaccine companies have come across as innovators in early stage vaccine development research.
