NEW DELHI: Amid prevalent chaos and uncertainty over access to the essential services and commodities during the lockdown, India reported more than 52,952 cases of coronavirus and 1,783 fatalities as of Thursday.

BENGALURU

  • Under pressure, Karnataka government to resume train services for migrant workers from Friday.
  • Eight new Covid positive cases reported in Karnataka since 5pm on Wednesday. Total number of cases in the state rised to 701.

DELHI

  • Construction of a South Delhi Municipal Corporation primary school resumes at Samaspur Khalsa area in Najafgarh.
