NEW DELHI: From Monday, cities across the country would have lifted several restrictions imposed in the wake of coronavirus. The government has allowed religious places, malls, restaurants and markets to function while adhering to strict guidelines on social distancing and sanitisation.

LUCKNOW
- The Lucknow Municipal Corporation has decided to ensure door-to-door garbage collection from Mansarovar Yojana at Kanpur Road and Sulabh Awas at Transportnagar by June end. This will benefit over 10,000 residents of these societies.
- Lucknow district administration has mandated that employees of salons and beauty parlours must use sanitizers and keep records of customers.
- Only five people will be allowed to offer prayers at one time in mosques, Imambaras, dargahs and mazaars when they reopen on June 8.
- Gurdwara Naka Hindola will use a nanospray gun to sanitize devotees as a precaution against novel coronavirus (Covid-19), once it reopens in Lucknow on Monday.
- Malls, restaurants, hotels and places of religious worship are all set to reopen from Monday as the state allows further relaxations under Unlock 1.0.
- The novel coronavirus infection cases continue to increase in Lucknow with as many as 10 more people testing positive on Saturday, taking the city tally to 446.
