A total of 11 thousand 183 dengue patients have been found in Uttar Pradesh since January 2022. Maximum one thousand 677 cases have been reported in Lucknow. Prayagraj is on the second number. The number of dengue patients here is one thousand 543. At the same time, 710 patients have been found in Ghaziabad. Strict instructions have been given to all government hospitals and medical colleges not to send back dengue patients without treatment.
In fact, the Health Department has set up a control room at the state level to provide better health facilities to the patients. The number of beds has been increased as per the need. Elaborate arrangements have been made to check fever patients. The Director General of Medical and Health has instructed the Chief Medical Officers of the districts that essential medicines should always be available in the hospitals.

Talking to ‘Aaj Tak’, Director General Medical and Health Dr. Lily Singh said, “The dengue situation is under control. Dengue cases are being reported in some places. Most of the cases are being reported from big cities like Lucknow, Ayodhya and Prayagraj.” At present the situation is under control.”
He further said, “The weather temperature has not reduced yet, so the dengue cases are not reducing. We have complete arrangements in the hospitals. Sufficient number of beds are available. Instructions have been given to increase the beds if needed.”
Dr. Lilly Singh said, “The Municipal Corporation has been given the responsibility of spraying medicines on mosquito larvae. Every hospital has sufficient quantity of medicines. Each hospital has different capacity of beds. Some have 10 beds and some have 15 beds.” Instructions are also given to increase them as per requirement. No patient is being turned back on the basis of lack of beds.”
