The Israeli army stated on Thursday that the head of an elite intelligence system will resign over the failure to avoid Hamas’s October 7 attack.

“The leader of the 8200 system, (Brigadier General) Yossi Sariel, has actually notified his leaders and subordinates of his intent to end his position,” the army stated in a declaration.
