Dispute over land, father and five brothers together killed a man
In Jaunpur, UP, a man was murdered by his father and five brothers over a land dispute. Now, on the complaint of the wife, the police have arrested 8 people in this case while 6 named accused are absconding and are being searched by the police. Police have arrested a total of 8 people including his father and five brothers in the case of murder of a son in a land dispute in Jaunpur, UP. Police said the family killed their sixth son over a land dispute. The incident took place on Thursday night in Khargapur Khoiri village of Barsathi police station area.
According to the news agency, Kailash Nath Shukla, a resident of the village, called his sixth son Vinod Shukla (47) to his house on the pretext of a religious function. SHO Kashyap Kumar Singh said, ‘There, he and his five sons met after a land dispute. Vinod was brutally attacked, due to which he was seriously injured.
Vinod died in the hospital on Thursday night. On the complaint of his wife, the police have registered a case of murder against 14 people. Kailash and his five sons had absconded after the incident.

The station in-charge said, ‘Eight of the 14 named suspects, including the father and five brothers, have been arrested. Efforts are on to arrest the remaining accused. Police said that all the arrested suspects are members of the same family.
