Madhya Pradesh government has given Diwali gift to its employees by increasing Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4%. This increase will be considered effective from January 1, 2024. With this increase, dearness allowance will increase from 46% to 50%. Now dearness allowance will be given at the rate of 50% to government servants from January 1, 2024 and the arrears will be paid in four equal installments in this financial year.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said in a discussion with the media that the state government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of all officers and employees. My congratulations to everyone. On the basis of this, the approved rate of dearness allowance was made effective from July 1, 2023. The arrear amount was paid in installments.
