Emirates continues to operate a limited number of passenger repatriation and freighter flights on 3 and 4 March.  We are accommodating customers with earlier bookings as a priority on these limited flights. Around 150 Indians returned back to their home after two-day ordeal as flights to and from partially resumed from late Monday.

Among the Indians who went back safety was, top shuttler PV Sindhu.

Taking to X, she wrote, “Back home in Bangalore and safe”.

“The last few days have been intense and uncertain, but I’m truly grateful to be back to my house. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible ground teams, Dubai authorities, airport staff, immigration, and every single person who stepped up and took such good care of us during a very difficult time. The empathy and professionalism meant more than words can say. For now, it’s time to rest, reset, and figure out the next steps,” she added further.

Air India welcomes back stranded passengers from Dubai on flight AI916D that landed at 1058 hrs IST at Delhi Airport.

The aircraft VT-EDC carried 149 passengers, marking the first Indian carrier flight bringing passengers home amid the ongoing Middle East crisis.

Earlier on Tuesday, 143 Air India and Air India Express crew members stranded in Dubai returned safely to Delhi on flight AI918D.

Amid rising airstrikes and worsening security in Tehran, the Indian Embassy has moved Indian students to safer locations as a precaution. Students from Tehran were transported by bus to Qom, and all, including those from Jammu & Kashmir, reported CNN-News18.
