In many states across the country, the Election Commission is conducting a special intensive revision (SIR) survey to improve the voter list. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh regarding the case of giving wrong information in SIR.
According to the investigation, a woman named Noorjahan, resident of Rampur, filled wrong information in the form about her two sons – Aamir Khan and Danish Khan. Of the two sons, one has been living in Dubai and the other in Kuwait for many years, but the mother hid this information and showed them as living in India. Not only this, fake signatures of both were also put in the form.
When the Block Level Officer (BLO) digitized the data, this discrepancy came to light. After this, Rampur District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi considered the matter serious and registered a case against the mother and both the sons.
