MUMBAI: Even as BCCI president Sourav Ganguly announced that an All-Star game will be held ahead of the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League( IPL), with players being pooled in from all 8 franchises to form two teams, franchises themselves aren’t keen to share their players prior to the competition.
There are cricket and industrial reasons involved for the franchises to state no to an All-Star game prior to the competition. “Commercially, we are not alright if players don’t use our jersey (no matter an All-Star video game),” a franchise owner informed TOI.
