DCP Traffic Rais Akhtar said that the report has been sent to the Home Guard Commandant with complete information and facts for action on the five Home Guards.

The Joint Commissioner of Police caught 5 home guards red-handed drinking alcohol inside the traffic police booth located in Chowk, Lucknow. All five were in uniform. Immediately its information was given to DCP Traffic and ACP. Along with this, the local police was called and the five home guards were handed over to them and a medical test was done. After this incident, there has been a stir in the police department.

According to the information, Joint Commissioner of Police Piyush Mordia was getting many information regarding Shahmeena traffic booth for the last several days. Local people say that illegal recovery is done here. To know whose truth he reached the spot in his private car.

Where he heard noises and loud laughter from the traffic booth, he stood outside the booth and started listening to the home guards having fun. After some time, when he opened the door of the booth, everyone was shocked to see him. It is being told that the duty of two home guards was imposed at this traffic booth. During this, three other home guards also came there whose duty had been completed. Then all together made a program of drinking alcohol and were caught red handed.

DCP Traffic Rais Akhtar said that the report has been sent to the Home Guard Commandant with complete information and facts for action on the five Home Guards. Soon action will be taken on Sarvesh, Komal, Abhishek, Ramnivas and Anoop from the headquarter side.
