A boy transporting meat in his lorry was chased by a gang of motorcyclist for around half-an-hour prior to being waylaid and battered completely public view near Jama Mosque primary market off Jail Road here on Friday. The cops think the man, a Muslim, was beaten up on suspicion of transporting beef.
