The All India Shia Personal Law Board has demanded that schools should teach about Hazrat Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad. A letter has also been written to the Union Education Minister in this regard.

National General Secretary of All India Shia Personal Law Board and Muslim religious leader Maulana Yasoob Abbas said that 1400 years ago, Hazrat Imam Hussain, the grandson of Mohammad Sahib, fought with the biggest terrorist Yazid in the field of Karbala to save humanity. He sacrificed his life to protect humanity. That’s why Muharram is celebrated not only in India but all over the world in the memory of Hazrat Imam Hussain.

Maulana Yasoob Abbas further told that 1400 years ago when Yazid’s forces blocked the way of Imam Hussain, he told Yazidi terrorists to leave my way because I want to go away from your borders to India, where there are no Muslims but humans live.

Yasoob Abbas also told that people of other religions living in India also celebrate Muharram in the memory of Hazrat Imam Hussain. In such a situation, in the curriculum of Indian schools, where the great men who liberated India are taught. Similarly, Hazrat Imam Hussain should be taught in the school syllabus.
