The brand change undergoes regulative approvals, the business said.

The Indian system of Unilever stated on Thursday it will drop the word “reasonable” from its “Fair & Lovely” variety of products, which have long been criticised for promoting unfavorable stereotypes versus individuals with darker skin.

” We are making our skin care portfolio more inclusive … a more diverse representation of appeal,” Hindustan Unilever Chairman Sanjiv Mehta said in a statement.
