Sundays are falling on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th in the month of March. Due to being a weekly holiday on this day, banks will remain closed all over the country. Apart from this, there will be no work in banks even on the festival of Holi.

April 2023

In the month of April, weekly holiday of Sunday is falling on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. Because of this banks will remain closed. Apart from this, there will be holiday in banks on the occasion of festivals in different states.

In the month of May, there will be Sunday holiday in banks on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Apart from this, banks will remain closed in many states on May 1 on the occasion of ‘May Day’.

June 2023

  • June 10 (Saturday) – Second Saturday

Sundays are falling on 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of June. That is, banks will remain closed due to weekly holidays. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on festivals and other occasions in different states.

July 2023

In the month of September, there will be a Sunday holiday in banks on 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on many occasions in different states.

  • September 9 (Saturday) – Second Saturday
  • September 23 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday
  • September 28 (Thursday) – Milad un-Nabi
  • September 19 (Ganesh Chaturthi) (Banks will remain closed in some states)

October 2023

Banks will remain closed on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of October due to Sunday holiday. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed on the occasion of birth anniversaries and festivals in different states.

  • October 14 (Saturday) – Second Saturday
  • October 24 (Tuesday) – Dussehra

November 2023

There will be Sunday holiday in banks on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November. In many states, Govardhan Puja-13 November, Bhai Dooj-15 November, Chhath-20 November, banks will remain closed on these occasions as well.

  • November 25 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday

December 2023

Due to Sundays on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st of December, there will be holiday in banks. Apart from this, banks of different states will remain closed on many occasions.

  • December 25 (Monday) – Christmas
