Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has rejected the reports that it is being said that he used to call former Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa as boss while in office. Khan made it clear that during the tenure of the post of Prime Minister, I never called Bajwa the boss.
Imran Khan (70) while addressing a group of YouTubers at his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore said why would I call him (Bajwa) boss. In fact, a journalist had asked him a question about this here, while answering which he gave this clarification. He said that I never called the former army chief the boss.

Khan has also accused Bajwa of playing a double game. Accusing Bajwa of playing a double game with his government, he said that he had made a big mistake by extending Bajwa’s term in 2019.
Let us inform that the tenure of Bajwa (61) as Army Chief was extended by the then Prime Minister Imran Khan for three years. Bajwa retired from the post only on November 29 last month.

Khan had said that whenever I used to talk to General Bajwa about the coup of the government. He used to say that the fall of the government is not possible. He used to say that we need sustainability in the country. I had sent my Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin to him, who explained to him for about two hours the consequences of the fall of the government. But at that time the army chief was dealing with the opposition parties while on the other hand assuring me of political support.
