26 amongst the patients who died are aged above60
Sixty-five percent of those who died in Karnataka due to COVID-19 were aged above60 And all other clients who lost their lives were aged above 40.
An analysis of the 40 COVID-19 deaths in Karnataka by the State war space reveals that 26 among them were aged above60 Eleven (275%) remained in the 50-59 age bracket and three in the 40-49 group.
Age-wise circulation
Amongst those contaminated, a majority in the State fall under the 20-29 age bracket. As many as 24.7%of the overall 1,373 patients evaluated positive in the State come from this classification.
The war room has evaluated data of clients who tested favorable till Tuesday early morning. The next largest portion of patients (2396%) who evaluated favorable belong to the 30-39 age. The least number of patients who checked positive come from the 0 to 5 years age group. An overall of 37 kids in this age bracket (2.69%) tested positive.
Authorities in the Department of Health and Family Welfare stated that 10.48%of the positive cases are above 60 years old.
