Will follow if Congress high command forgives them, the Chief Minister says.

In a reversal of his stand, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said if the Congress high command forgave the rebels, consisting of former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, then he would likewise welcome them back in the fold.

Mr. Gehlot had used severe words against Mr. Pilot, calling him “nikamma” or worthless, at a time when the Congress management was striving to heal bridges with the rebel camp.

In reaction to press reporters’ queries, Mr. Gehlot stated he would do whatever the Congress leadership wanted. He provided the celebration the credit for him ending up being Chief Minister thrice.
