NEW DELHI: There will soon be more flights — at lower fares — to the US, UK and some EU nations. India has established “air bubbles” with US, France and Germany and is in “advanced stage talks” with UK for the same, the aviation ministry said Thursday.
Air India
has decided to lower fares of its
Vande Bharat Mission
(VBM) flights to these countries.
“United is operating 18 flights between Delhi and US from July 17 to 31. Air France will operate 28 flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru from July 18 to August 1. Lufthansa will also be operating,” said a ministry spokesman.
Airlines of India and UAE are flying eligible passengers between the two countries till August 26, the ministry said.
