Indian High Commission in Canada seeks removal  of ‘smoking Kaali’ poster

The Indian High Commission in Canada on Monday issued an announcement on ‘smoking Kaali’ poster by filmmaker Leena Manimekalai.

The Indian High Commission in Canada on Monday issued an announcement on ‘smoking Kaali’ poster by filmmaker Leena Manimekalai, and entreated the Canadian authorities and the tournament organizers to withdraw “all such fascinating field subject”.

In an announcement, the High Commission stated that they indulge in purchased complaints from leaders of the Hindu crew in Canada about “disrespectful depiction of Hindu Gods on the poster of a movie showcased as allotment of the ‘Under the Tent venture on the Aga Khan Museum, Toronto.”

“Our Consulate Total in Toronto has conveyed these considerations to the organizers of the tournament,” be taught the narrate.

Soon after she shared the poster, Leena Manimekalai was on the receiving pause of online brickbats. Social media users asked the Aga Khan Museum, where the movie was launched, to capture it down all of a sudden.
