Meanwhile, internal infighting within the Congress is creating difficulties for the INDIA block to reach power. Even before the dialogue program organized on Friday, the dispute within the Congress came to the fore in front of party general secretary KC Venugopal. Actually, experts believe that if the INDIA block has to retain power in the state, then the role of Congress should be important in it, but the way controversy has arisen within the party regarding ticket distribution, the difficulty seems to be increasing for the INDIA block. The anger of the workers was such that even KC Venugopal was stunned and could not speak for 6 to 7 minutes due to the sloganeering of the workers.

Although this was only an inaugural program of the party, the leaders and workers involved in it said on the condition of anonymity that the tickets were distributed in violation of all the norms. Activists alleged that tickets had been sold. In Panki, the ticket was given to a candidate who had joined the party a month ago. Also, in Barhi, such a candidate, whose entry took place two years ago, was fielded after cutting the ticket of the sitting MLA. Even in Dhanbad, the candidate who was given the ticket is facing opposition. The allegation is also that those who carried the party flag for 20 to 30 years have been ignored. The question of why the party did not field candidates for the SC seat was also raised in the Samvad programme. Apart from this, it was asked that what is the reason for expressing confidence in the candidate who has been defeated in 4 elections from Kanke?

Let us tell you that in the last state elections, Congress had won 16 out of 31 seats. Whereas Hemant Sorane’s JMM had won 30 seats. RJD and Left parties had got one seat each. NCP also supported Hemant government. Saryu Rai also supported the government. There is discussion that this time also JMM led government can be formed only if Congress also repeats the performance of 2019. If this does not happen then it may be difficult to retain power. And this does not seem to be happening at the moment because the Congress workers and leaders themselves are not only raising questions on their own Congress Party regarding the selection of candidates but are also talking about selling the ticket. They are talking about fielding a weak candidate. In such a situation, it is clear that the discussion is also in full swing that Congress, which is fighting on 30 seats, might prove to be a weak link in the path of INDIA block.
