Information about terrorist and bomb in Hirakud Express, intensive search of train for half an hour in Jhansi

There was a security panic at Jhansi railway station on Sunday due to the rumor of terrorists being present in the Amritsar-Vishakhapatnam Hirakud Express. Investigation revealed that the incident started with a dispute over a seat, in which a passenger gave a false alert by calling three Muslim passengers as terrorists. The police interrogated all the passengers and left the train after about 30 minutes.

There was a sudden panic among the security agencies at Jhansi railway station on Amritsar-Vishakhapatnam Hirakud Express on Sunday. Railway Protection Force (RPF) control room received information that some suspected terrorists were traveling in the train. As soon as the information was received, the police and RPF team came into action.

The whole controversy started from Datia station
Investigation revealed that the case had started at Datia station in Madhya Pradesh. Here there was a fight among four passengers over seats. As the argument escalated, a passenger claimed that the three Muslim passengers involved in the fight were terrorists. This news immediately reached RPF and taking it seriously, an alert was issued.

Four passengers were dropped off and interrogated.
In Datia, RPF and local police deboarded the four passengers Ramesh Paswan (Abbott Market), H Bilal Jilani, Ishan Khan and Faizan (resident of Talpura, Jhansi) from the train. Later he was stopped for questioning in Jhansi also. Police said that in the initial investigation no evidence of terrorism has been found and the matter was only about seat dispute.

Intensive search of train for 30 minutes
After the information about the terrorist alert, the general bogie of the train, front coach, bags, identity of the passengers were all thoroughly checked. In Datia the bogie was also checked with sniffer dog. After re-search in Jhansi also, the train was dispatched at around 3:30 pm.

No suspicious object or person found
Officials said that no suspicious object or person was found during the entire investigation. The matter turned out to be a complete false alert, which was spread due to a false complaint made during the seat dispute.
