By Sagay Raj: BJP MLA from Karnataka, MP Kumaraswamy, on Sunday declared that he was assaulted by the villagers in Chikkamagaluru objecting versus the death of a lady who was apparently stomped by an elephant.
Villagers, who were opposing with the dead body, were mad about the duplicated occurrences of individuals being eliminated after getting stomped by the elephants.

After the MLA went to the demonstration area around night, an argument broke out in between the BJP leader and the villagers over the MLAs late action to the demonstration.
Later, he was apparently gone after out, with individuals following him. Authorities came to the rescue of the MLA and resorted to require to distribute the livid villagers.
Following the event, Kumaraswamy declared that he was battered, and individuals ripped his t-shirt off.
