The Indian team was announced on 25 September (Thursday) for the 2 -match domestic Test series against the West Indies. Karun Nair has not been included in the 15 -member Indian team. Karun returned to international cricket through a recent England tour. But after 8 years, his return was reduced to a series.
Karun Nair could not perform anything special on England tour. Karun played four out of 5 Test matches, in which he scored 205 runs at an average of 25.62. During this, he scored a half -century. He hit the half -century in the Oval Test match, where India won and equaled in the series. Now due to this average performance, he was discharged again from the team. After being out of the team, it will not be easy for Karun to return again.
