KOTTAYAM: A Malayali nurse was brutally killed outside a hospital in Florida in the US on Tuesday.
Merin Joy, 28, who is from Monippally in Kottayamn district, was stabbed multiple times and struck by a vehicle while leaving the hospital.
Witnesses said the suspect drove the car over her body after stabbing her.
Police arrested Philip Mathew 34, who is the husband of the victim. Mathew, who hails from Veliyanad, has been charged with first degree murder, local media reported.
