In a major development on Wednesday, previous Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, a day after giving up the celebration, officially joined the BJP.
In a quote to keep the flock together, the Congress and the BJP are sending their MLAs to Jaipur and Gurugram respectively. Over 22 Congress MLAs from Madhya Pradesh had resigned from the Assembly on March 10, bringing the government into a political crisis. Following the resignation of Congress leader Scindia from the celebration, 13 MLAs and 6 Ministers owing allegiance to him, sent their resignations.
The six ministers who had earlier resigned as legislators from the Cabinet were released removal orders by Governor Lalji Tandon as asked for by Chief Minister Kamal Nath.

Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday invited previous Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia in the BJP.
Talking to press reporters here after Mr. Scindia signed up with the BJP in presence of celebration president J.P. Nadda in Delhi, Mr. Chouhan likewise protected Scindia’s decision to leave the Congress.
