Speaking to the media on the sidelines of an interview to announce the State’s most significant ever arms and ammunition seizure in a Left Wing Extremism (LWE)- affected area, a senior cops main asserted that the Maoists’ hold in the region formerly called ‘cut-off area’ seemed crumbling.

” Early January we had actually introduced a big composite operation in cut-off area including Odisha cops, Greyhound Force of Andhra Pradesh, BSF and CRPF,” said Director General of Cops Abhay. “It offered us a great deal of inputs as to how Maoist extremists run.
