NEW DELHI: The 15-month-old Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh plunged into a major political crisis with as many as 22 MLAs loyal to Jyotiraditya Scindia camping in Bengaluru sending their resignations to Raj Bhavan.
The resignations came shortly on the heels of Scindia himself resigning from the Congress party, saying that it is time for him to move on. Sources said that Scindia is likely to join the BJP later today.
