Amit Shah likewise declared that the BJP will form next federal government in West Bengal with two-thirds bulk.

Stressing that a fear is being spread out among areas of the population over the Citizenship (Modification) Act, Union House Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that “no minority from Kolkata or West Bengal will lose citizenship because of the CAA”.

Speaking at public rally at Sahid Minar grounds in Kolkata, Mr. Shah said that CAA is a law to offer citizenship not take away citizenship.

” The refugees are being made to fear that they will need to produce files, nothing of this sort will occur. Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist and Jains do not require any files,” he stated.
