The most typical health problems include the nerve system.
The gas leak from LG Polymers, which resulted in the death of at least 7 individuals in Visakhapatnam, is suspected to have been triggered by styrene gas.
The most common illness when exposed to styrene involve the nerve system– both the central and the peripheral worried systems.
According to the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Avoidance (CDC), the health effects due to inhalation of styrene gas include fatigue, feeling intoxicated, slowed reaction time, concentration problems, balance issues and modifications in colour vision.
