The police have taken a big action after a violent ruckus on Sunday in Karchana area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. So far 51 people have been arrested in the case of damage to government property by Bhim Army workers and spreading violence. At the same time, 8 minors have been detained by the police under the Child Protection Act. Police say that further action is being taken in the case.
Actually, the ruckus started when MP Chandrashekhar Azad wanted to go to a victim’s house in Isauta village and Kaushambi of Karachana. However, the police took him to the circuit house directly from the airport and stopped him for hours. Angered by this, Azad Samaj Party and Bhima Army activists started a fierce demonstration in Karchana.
