Recruitment for 8,875 posts in Railways, graduates should apply

There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recruited 8,875 posts for NTPC by 2025. Of these, 5,817 posts are for graduate pass and 3,058 posts are for undergraduate pass youth. The maximum number of recruitments at the graduate level is for Goods Train Manager (Goods Guard), whose number is 3,423. Apart from this, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist (921 posts) and Station Master (615 posts) are also included.

Through recruitment in graduate posts in Railways, recruitment will be done to the posts of Senior Clerk-cum-Typist (638 posts), Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor (161 posts) and Traffic Assistant (59 posts) in Metro Railways. The highest number of posts for graduate level (12th pass) candidates are for Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk (2,424 posts). Apart from this, there are also vacancies for Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist (394 posts), Junior Clerk-cum-Typist (163 posts) and Train Clerk (77 posts). Railway Board has directed all zones and units to properly implement reservation rules for SC, ST, OBC and EWS in recruitment.

SC, ST, Divyang, Women and Ex-Servicemen Candidates: Rs 250
