Sahitya Aaj Tak Festival was organized in Delhi last week from 18th to 20th November at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium. This festival, which brought the world of literature on a single platform, was special in many ways, where not only the world of literature, but also famous personalities related to fields like music, Bollywood, art, social service illuminated the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak. The festival was organized for three days, where on each day, on three platforms, personalities from different fields inspired the audience with their experiences and art. Day 1: A strong start for Sahitya Aaj Tak
The first day of Sahitya Aaj Tak presented by Rajnigandha was started by Kali Puri, Vice Chairperson of India Today Group, being present on the stage. During this, he said that ‘Sahitya Aaj Tak’ is a celebration of India’s culture and art. Along with this, well-known names of the music world, Kutale Khan, Sadho Band, Asees Kaur, Surendra-Soumyajit mesmerized the audience with their magical music on the first day. Also, famous personalities of Bollywood like Deepti Naval and Divya Dutta also shared their experiences with the audience from the platform of Sahitya Aaj Tak. At the same time, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of Bachpan Bachao Andolan Kailash Satyarthi also shared his experiences on this platform. On the first day, litterateurs also turned on the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak, including Harish Bhimani, Yatindra Mishra, Sanjivani Bhelande, Ashwin Sanghi, Nasira Sharma, Abdul Bismillah, Bhagwandas Morwala, Vyomkesh Shukla, Geet Chaturvedi, Urmila Shirish, Chinmayi Tripathi, Joyal Mukherjee, Mridula Garg, Maitreyi Pushpa, Dr. Buddhinath Mishra, Dr. Vishnu Saxena, Anamika Jain Amber, Sonrupa Vishal, Pankaj Sharma, Malvika Hariom were included.
Second day: Sahitya Aaj Tak spread colors
The second day of Sahitya Aaj Tak Mahotsav started with the mesmerizing singing of famous singer and MP Hans Raj Hans. He had spread colors in the atmosphere at the beginning of the day itself. After this, famous poets and litterateurs won the hearts of the audience with their art. These include famous poet Kumar Vishwas, writer Chetan Bhagat, writer Kausar Munir, Alka Saraogi, Rishikesh Sulabh, Madhu Kankaria, journalist and writer Shiv Aroor, journalist and writer Gaurav Sawant, writer Tanveer Ghazi, writer Alok Srivastava, writer Ritesh Rajwada, Surendra Mohan Pathak. Eminent personalities such as Mahua Maji, writer and parliamentarian were included. Who made the second day of Sahitya Aaj Tak very special with their compositions and art from different forums. Along with this, well-known faces of Bollywood and cinema world like music composer Prasoon Joshi, actor Kabir Bedi, Sawanand Kirkire, actor and MP Manoj Tiwari also made their presence felt on the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak. On the second day of Sahitya Aaj Tak, Bismil Band, singer Akanksha Grover, singer Priya Malik, singer Kashish Mittal organized such a gathering of tunes that the audience was seen dancing.
Day 3: Confluence of humour, tunes and literature
The third day started with Suron Ki Mehfil, where famous singer Afsana Khan enthralled the audience with her melodious style. Along with this, famous singer B Praak also decorated the stage of Sahit Aaj Tak with his art. Along with this, a program was also staged to pay tribute to the late comedian Raju Srivastava, in which famous comedians Sunil Pal, Ehsan Qureshi, Naveen Prabhakar, Suresh Albela remembered Raju Srivastava with a laughter session. Comedian Zakir Khan and artist Bhuvan Bam also continued this journey of comedy on different platforms. Many writers and litterateurs associated with the literary world also presented their works on the platform of Sahitya Aaj Tak, including Anand Neelkanthan, Deeksha Dwivedi, Swapnil Pandey, Neha Dwivedi, Dr. Suryabala, Mamta Kalia, Usha Kiran Khan, Ashok Vajpayee, Anamika, Arun Along with Kamal, famous poets and poets like Wasim Barelvi, Sheen Kaf Nizam, Nawaz Deobandi, Rajesh Reddy, Alok Srivastava, Sutlej Rahat, Shikha Awadhesh, Kumar Vishwas were also involved. Director and producer Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Professor Usha Priyamvada, Professor Sangeet Kumar Ragi, writer Ajay Singh also inspired the audience through their experience and art on the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak.
