A sensational revelation has been made in the kidnapping case of minor student Harshit Saini in Sambhal district of UP. According to the police, none other than his elder brother Lavkush is involved in the kidnapping of Harshit. Since, Harshit had lost a lot of money in online gaming. He had gone into debt. At the same time, the elder brother wanted to buy a shop worth one lakh. In such a situation, both of them together hatched a conspiracy. At present, the police have arrested Lavkush. SP Sambhal Kuldeep Gunawat has given complete information in a press conference.
Actually, the whole matter is from Begumsarai area of Sadar Kotwali area, where Om Prakash Saini, a resident of Information to the police Omprakash had said that on the evening of July 31, his minor son Harshit had gone out to buy momos, but did not return home till late night. Omprakash said that an e-rickshaw driver had kidnapped Harshit from in front of the mall. The kidnapper sent Harshit’s photo with his hands and mouth tied on Instagram and demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh.
According to Omprakash- Out of fear, we did not tell the police and collected money from here and there and managed to get 1.5 lakh rupees. Then we kept the bag full of money at the place told by the kidnapper. After some time Harshit was found in the same area. After finding the son, the whole story was told to the police. On which the police became active and started investigating.

On the other hand, after hearing the sensational story of the student’s kidnapping, SP Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, under the leadership of CO Anuj Chaudhary, directed the SOG and Crime Branch teams to arrest the accused. The Crime Branch and Surveillance team together started investigating the incident by inquiring about it and first of all started tracing the ID that sent the message on the Instagram ID. During the investigation, the mobile number of the kidnapped student’s brother Lavkush was found in the kidnapper’s ID.
On which the police took Lavkush alias Lucky into custody and started questioning him. When the joint team of Crime Branch, Surveillance and Kotwali Police showed strictness in questioning Lavkush, he confessed the whole truth. Then the police also made the minor student Harshit, who was kidnapped, a part of the interrogation. It was revealed that Harshit needed Rs 1 lakh to pay off his debt of Rs 50,000 for online gaming and Lavkush needed Rs 1 lakh to buy a shop, so both of them together hatched a conspiracy of kidnapping.
He was running it himself by creating a fake ID
During interrogation, Lavkush told the police that both the brothers had planned this. On Wednesday night, he had taken Harshit on his bike and dropped him at his friend Abhishek’s house in Hazratnagar Garhi village. On the way, he tied a cloth over Harshit’s mouth and took his photo. He sent the same photo to his family for ransom. When his friend asked, he said that his family had gone to Jammu for darshan, so he was leaving Harshit there.
Then Lavkush created a fake Instagram ID by entering his mobile number and on Wednesday night, using the same fake ID, he started sending kidnapping messages to his younger brother Harshit’s Instagram ID. In the Instagram message, he sent Harshit’s photo along with a ransom message of Rs 2 lakh. Lavkush stayed with the family members at night and kept working as per the plan.
