The Tamil Nadu federal government has chosen to hand over to the CBI the probe into the current deaths of a dad and child– Jayaraj and J. Benicks– at Sattankulam, supposedly due to torture in police custody, Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami said in Salem on Sunday.
The federal government will notify the Madras High Court (Madurai Bench) of its choice when the case related to the deaths of the two guys is used up for hearing.
