Savagery! Grandson raped old grandmother, threatened to kill her if she opened her mouth

A news has come out from Khutar of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh which is tearing apart relationships and humanity. Here a 25 year old man allegedly raped his grandmother. Police gave this information on Friday. Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Manoj Kumar Awasthi said, ‘On Thursday night, the elderly woman was sleeping at home when her grandson Akhilesh Kumar allegedly took her to his room and forced himself on her.’
The officer said Kumar also threatened to kill him if he told anyone about the incident. He said that a case of rape and threatening to kill has been registered against Kumar. The woman has been sent to the hospital for medical examination and the police has started searching for the accused.
This is not the first case of brutality against women and girls by their own people, but every day many such cases come to light where their own relatives turn out to be rapists.

While giving information to PTI in this regard, Chhatarpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Agam Jain said that they have started a search to arrest the accused. He lived with his wife and 21-year-old daughter. But as soon as a complaint about his misdeed was registered at Lavkush Nagar police station, he absconded.
