The Press Council of India’s (PCI) declaration versus the attack on the Editor of Republic TELEVISION, Arnab Goswami, advised me of a current Twitter crowd-sourcing effort by Alan Rusbridger, Chair of the Reuters Institute for the Research Study of Journalism and previous Editor of The Guardian Mr. Rusbridger wanted readers to provide “examples of chaff”. It is essential that not only the PCI but likewise the government and the courts notice the distinction in between editors who put out the chaff in the public domain and those who make every effort to deliver the wheat.
