NEW DELHI: A day after Indian Railways invited request for qualifications for private participation for traveler train operations, several leaders of opposition celebrations objected to the move and asked the government to reassess its choice.
On Wednesday, the national transporter stated that it has welcomed ask for qualifications for personal participation for passenger train operations on 109 sets of paths through 151 contemporary trains. It stated that it plans to enable private entities to run guest trains and the task would involve economic sector investment of about Rs 30,000 crore.
