Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Sunday extended the COVID-19 lockdown till June 30 but announced considerable relaxations, including resumption of restricted public transport except in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu and non-containment zones.
Places of praise, hill stations, shopping malls, amusement parks, auditoriums, resorts, lodges and the like shall remain closed for public and travelers.
