In an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Monalisa said that Vikrant and I had shifted to the same house 3 months after coming into a relationship. We were living together since 2008 and got married in 2017. We were living together for about 9 years.
Monalisa said that when the relationship between me and Vikrant started, the director started getting jealous. He used to change our shifts to harass us.
The actress said that when we lived together, we had to face a lot of difficulties. Sometimes I had work. He used to sit idle at home. Sometimes he had work, so I used to sit idle at home.
When I did Bigg Boss, my life changed. I was trying to shift to TV for a long time. I got the opportunity to work on TV from Bigg Boss. After the show my good time started.
Monalisa says that heroes are paid more in Bhojpuri cinema. I was doing 12-13 films a year. The movies there did not have much budget, so there were problems regarding money.
Our life is still not stable. But yes, life is going on fine right now. There is no problem of water and electricity.
Monalisa also revealed that once or twice the heroes took advantage of her during intimate scenes in B-grade movies.
