Due to cold, sleeping in the room by lighting a fireplace became havoc on a family in Meerut. The whole family sleeping in the room got destroyed. Husband-wife and their 4-year-old daughter have died. It is being told that to avoid the cold, the family had slept by closing the door after burning the stove in the room. The police have taken the dead bodies in possession and sent them for postmortem.
The case pertains to Meerut’s TP Nagar police station area, where Chander (38), a resident of Nepal, used to work as a servant in the house of entrepreneur Alok Bansal. Chander was a resident of Kailali, Chaumala district of Nepal. Chander’s wife Radha (35) and 4-year-old daughter Anjali also lived with him in a room on the third floor of Alok Bansal’s house.
Alok Bansal informed the police that Chander had slept with his family in the room by lighting a fireplace and when no one came out of the room till 4 pm on January 1, when he went to see Chander in the room, the room was locked from inside. After this somehow the room was opened, everyone was shocked to see the scene there.

Husband Chander and his wife Radha were dead in the room, while their 4-year-old daughter Anjali was unconscious, who was immediately taken to a private hospital in Meerut but she also died. Alok Bansal says that Chander was working at his house for about 5-6 years.
Alok Bansal says that after the bonfire on the roof of the house on the night of 31st, some wood was left which Chandar took to his room and lit it in the fireplace and closed the room, he died of suffocation. Alok Bansal informed about this on number 112, after which the police also reached and sent all the dead bodies for postmortem.
