These include industrialists like Big Bull Rakesh Jhunjhunwala to Rahul Bajaj.
Rahul Bajaj (Died: 12 February 2022)
At the beginning of the year 2022 came the first bad news for the Indian corporate sector with the death of Rahul Bajaj, Chairman Emeritus of Bajaj Group on 12 February 2022. He died at the age of one year. He was suffering from pneumonia as well as heart problems.
Pallonji Mistry (Died: 28 June 2022)
Pallonji Mistry, who was the chairman of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, one of the largest companies in the construction sector, also merged with Panchatatva this year. He was also called India’s most anonymous billionaire. The veteran industrialist married an Irish woman and after that he became a citizen of Ireland. However, even after this, he lived in India for most of the time in a seaside bungalow in Mumbai’s Vakshwar. Pallonji also died here.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (Died: 14 August 2022)
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, a veteran investor of the Indian stock market, died at the age of 62 in August this year. He was famous as Bigbull. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, who entered the world of stock market in the year 1985, used to say that the market always sees the future. Rakesh Jhunjhuwala remained an example for investors who started investing in the stock market. He left behind property worth thousands of crores.
Cyrus Mistry (Died: 4 September 2022)
The year 2022 proved to be the worst for Pallonji Shapoorji Family. Pallonji Mistry died in the first month of June and the family did not recover from its grief, until in September, Cyrus Mistry, former chairman of Tata Sons, died in a painful road accident. While returning from Gujarat, his Mercedes car collided with the divider in Palghar, adjacent to Maharashtra, and he lost his life in this accident. Cyrus Mistry was the sixth and youngest chairman of Tata Sons.
Vikram S. Kirloskar (Died: 29 November 2022)
Vikram S Kirloskar, Vice Chairperson of Kirloskar Motor, who brought Japanese car company Toyota to India in the 90s, died last month in November 2022. He was 64 years old. After his death, he is survived by his wife Gitanjali Kirloskar and daughter Manasi Kirloskar. Vikram Kirloskar had suffered a heart attack, after which the doctors declared him brain-dead.
