A police-administration team had reached Malkapur village of Kondapur mandal of Sangareddy to take action against an illegal building under construction. A stone that fell during the demolition of the building hit the head of the police officer who was making the video, due to which he was seriously injured. In injured condition, he has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After continuous complaints from the local people, this building was demolished.
In fact, in a major operation led by Kondapur Mandal Tehsildar Asha Jyothi, Revenue Department officials demolished an illegal building constructed at the Full Tank Level (FTL) of Pedda Cheruvu in Malkapur village of Kondapur Mandal in Sangareddy district. Told that this action was started at 6 am on Thursday.
The building was brought down using controlled explosion technique. This building was allegedly obstructing the natural flow of the lake. The action was taken following complaints from local residents, who had raised concerns about encroachment for several years. However, the demolition process did not go completely as planned.
