Two real brothers have been arrested in an encounter between police and robbers in Nakur police station area of Saharanpur. A robber was injured by a bullet. Police have recovered the looted money, mobile, bike and illegal weapons from them.

On December 26, there was an encounter between police and robbers in Nakur police station area of Saharanpur, in which two real brothers were arrested by the police. One of these robbers, Junaid, was injured by police firing, while his brother Istakhar got caught by the police while trying to escape. The incident took place on December 21 in Ambehata town, where these robbers looted the Public Service Center with the force of arms.
It is being told that under the direction of SP Dehat Sagar Jain, four teams were formed and a campaign was conducted to arrest the robbers. During checking between Kheda Afghan and Ambehata, the police signaled two suspects riding on an unnumbered bike to stop. Instead of stopping, the accused started firing at the police. In retaliation, Junaid was shot in the leg, after which he was arrested.

The police recovered two illegal pistols, six live cartridges, Rs 5370 in cash, a looted mobile phone and a bike from the robbers. SP Dehat said that both the accused are real brothers and residents of Gangoh police station area. A case has been registered against them in Nakur police station. The injured accused is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
A case of robbery was registered against both the accused.
Police said that the arrested accused have a criminal history and the search for their other associates is going on. This action of the police is being appreciated in the area.
