UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025: UPSC Civil Services (UPSC CSE) Preliminary Examination On 25 May 2025, lakhs of candidates took part in this examination held in 80 cities across the country, who are waiting for their results. Candidates who qualify in prelims will be able to sit in the men’s exam. Mains exam will be held in August.

UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025: The wait for the release of UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result is going to end soon. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) can release the result of the Civil Services Prelims Exam 2025 in this month. All eyes are on the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in, where the results will be available in PDF format.

Lakhs of candidates took part in this examination held in 80 cities across the country on 25 May 2025, UPSC Civil Services (UPSC CSE) Preliminary Examination. Based on the trends of previous years, the results are likely to be declared by 14 June 2025. Although the UPSC has not yet officially announced the result date, the candidates are advised to keep checking the UPSC website regularly. Candidates will be able to check their UPSC result through the steps mentioned below.

How to Check UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025: See method here
Step 1: Go to the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link “UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Result” (will soon be active) in the “What’s New” section on the homepage.
Step 3: Download the PDF file, which will have roll numbers of candidates who qualify.
Step 4: Search your roll number with the help of Ctrl+F here.
Step 5: For further PDF, you will also be able to take a printout of it.

Let us know that the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination included two papers – General Studies Paper -1 and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). Both papers were of objective (MCQ) type, each of which was of 200 digits. It is mandatory to score at least 33% marks in CSAT, while on the basis of the marks of Paper-1, it is selected for Mains Examination.

UPSC CSE Mains Exam Date 2025: Mains exam will be held in August
Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will have to fill the detailed application form (DAF-I) for the Mains Examination. The Mains exam will start from 22 August 2025, which will run for five days. This exam is written and described, in which the analytical ability of the candidates and the depth of knowledge is assessed. Experts recommend that the candidates start preparing for the men from now, especially pay attention to essay writing and current affairs.
