Sameer Khakhar worked in the industry for 4 decades. In between, he took a break from acting career and settled in the US. Then after some time the actor returned and worked in two Gujarati plays. He was also seen in Salman Khan’s film Jai Ho. This was his last movie. He was equally active in films and on TV. Sameer Khakhar was last seen in the TV show Sanjivani. Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna were in the lead roles in this show.
Sameer Khakhar had worked in Circus, Manoranjan, Shriman Shrimati, Adalat apart from Nukkad. He appeared in movies like Hasee Toh Phasee, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi, Pushpak, Dilwale, Raja Babu, Parinda and Shahenshah. Apart from Hindi shows and films, he had an important contribution in Gujarati theatre.
