US President Donald Trump said that he is ready to impose further ban on Russia, but for this Europe will have to take a tough stand like America. He clarified in a conversation with the media that Europe is still buying oil from Russia, I do not want them to do so. The ban that Europe is imposing is not enough. I am ready to ban, but Europe will have to tighten its restrictions according to the US.

Trump also urged the NATO countries to stop buying oil from Russia and impose strict restrictions on it, besides he proposed to impose strict tariffs on China as well. He said that I believe that other countries including NATO should put 50 to 100 percent tariffs on China. This tariff should be applicable until the Russia-Ukraine war ends. He said that China has great influence on Russia, these tariffs will weaken China’s grip.

Appeal to take strong steps from G7

The US also urged the G7 countries to put tariffs on those countries that buy oil from Russia. He has specially described India and China as helpful in Russia’s war campaign. During the conversation with G7 finance ministers, US Finance Minister Scott Besant and Business Representative Jamison Greer said that only united efforts can prevent money flow for the war of Russia.
