There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire state after the death of popular Assam singer Zubeen Garg. This is a deep shock for his fans. In this sorrow, on Wednesday, a young man died emotionally on the entire ghat bridge of Guwahati. Local people immediately informed the administration. Search operation is being conducted in the river.
Here on Thursday morning, SIT raided the house of Siddharth Sharma, manager of Zubeen Garg in Datalpara area of Guwahati. According to sources, the team of CID officers was present outside the three -storey building since morning. After monitoring for about two hours, the team entered flat number 3A. This flat is a 3bhk unit, where Siddharth Sharma and his family have been living since 2019.

The raid was conducted in the presence of the magistrate and a search operation took place in the flat for about an hour. However, it has not been clear whether it was recovered during the raid. As soon as the news spread, a crowd of fans of Zubeen Garg reached the spot.

Angry fans questioned the action of SIT. To prevent the situation from deteriorating the situation, the police deployed additional force and traffic police on the spot. Appeal was made to calm the crowd. At present, no official statement has been released by the SIT.
