When is Apara Ekadashi 2025?

According to the calculation of Vedic Almanac, Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha coming in Jyeshtha month this year starts on 23 May 2025 in the morning from 01 am 12 minutes, which will conclude late this day at 10:29 pm. In such a situation, on the basis of Udayatithi, this time Apara Ekadashi will be celebrated on 23 May 2025.

According to the almanac, Bhadra period will be from 02:12 pm to 22 May 2025 to 01 am on May 23, 2025. In such a situation, the Bhadra period will end on May 23 and after this Ekadashi date will begin. Therefore, this year, there will be no black shadow of Bhadra on Apara Ekadashi fast.

Apara Ekadashi Parana Time 2025?

Apara Ekadashi will be passed on 24 May. The auspicious time to open the fast will be from 05 am to 26 minutes from 08 am to 11 am. According to the scriptures, Ekadashi fast has to be passed before the end of Dwadashi date.

Apara Ekadashi Puja Vidhi

On the day of Apara Ekadashi, get up in Brahma Muhurta and clean the house. After this, take a bath and wear yellow clothes and resolve the fast. Offer the rituals of Lord Vishnu, offer them to Akshat, flowers, common fruits, coconut and dry fruits. Keep basil leaves in Vishnu’s worship. After this, listen to the story and perform Aarti. Then light a lamp of desi ghee near the basil plant in the evening. Then pass the fast the next day.
